The Daisy Sensor is a fun tool designed to help you maintain healthy plants. Daisy Sensor accomplishes this by measuring soil moisture; light power in three frequencies; and temperature, 24 hours per day and storing the data in memory. The Daisy App is a free application containing a library of plants and the ability to retrieve sensor data to help you become a better gardener in an easy and informative way.
Select the “+” then select the “Cloud icon” to view plants in our library or select advanced to enter a new plant.

--Add a picture, select Edit over the flower

--We have also added a section for you to add notes.
If you do not have a daisy sensor for each plant in your garden. No worries! Add a timed water alert (time wheel bottom right)
Select the “Sensors” view from the home page. From this page, you can pair sensors with plants from your garden and calibrate sensors.
Unmute your iOS device
Place your new sensors into a cup of water and leave your device adjacent for approximately 5 minutes. A water drop sound effect will occur when the device wakes up.
Press “plant” button and pick a plant from your garden.
Don’t forget to press the pair button to associate it with the sensor

Name your plant by adding a nick name
Input common name (optional)
Input Scientific name (optional)
Add a location
Then Select Advanced
The advanced editor allows you access to watering profiles, lighting requirements, temperature requirements, Categories, and Care inputs.
Input Common name or Scientific Name
The Daisy App manages 4 watering profiles, Air Dry, Constant soil moisture, Seasonal profile, and Stress profile. (Details provided in Advanced Editor section).
Select the lighting requirement for your plant. From Bright direct sunlight through low lighting.
Adjust the temperature range your plant thrives in.
Care instructions – Input specific care instructions including Poisonous plant warnings, and general care instruction.
CAUTION - The Daisy Sensor runs off batteries and is designed to have a 2 year operating life. Operating life is maximized by allowing the sensor to sleep for long periods of time prior to making measurement.
Use this mode sparingly - excessive use will severely reduce the lifespan of your daisy sensor.
There are a lot of things you can do in the “Sensor” view. Every minute this page will be updated with the latest sensor readings (be patient).

-- Soil Moisture – Current Soil Moisture
Calibrate Soil Moisture Calibration of soil moisture is required for alpha and beta testers.
-- Turn the sensor upside down and set it on a table so the sensor is measuring air.
-- Select “Dry Calibrate”. Wait for 1 minute.
-- Place the sensor in water (water covers bottom ¾ of sensor)
-- Select “Wet Calibrate”. Wait 1 minute
-- Sensor is now calibrated
Calibrate Temp Calibration of temperature is required for alpha and beta testers.
-- Long Press on the temperature icon.
-- A dialog box will appear, enter the current temperature, select erase.
